There is no weaker & cheaper rolled steel used! Assembly of your chimenea is easy and quick. By its very nature cast iron will rust over time even though the surfaces have been treated with a high temperature resistant finish. Surface rusting is to be expected but this is cosmetic and in no way affects the performance of the chimenea.
